There was a very brief exchange during Supreme Court oral arguments Thursday that touched upon whether that Supreme Court justices are subject to the open records law.
It started when Assistant Attorney General Brian Keenan said, sort of offhandedly, that the justices would be subject to the law as employees of an authority -- in this case, the Court.
"That's what you say," Justice Shirley Abrahamson said. "We haven't said that."
The comments were made during arguments in Albert D. Moustakis v. Wisconsin Department of Justice.
